A new group of books and ephemera is set to drop on the website tomorrow, and although this isn’t the flashiest, it is one of my favorites. As a PA native, it takes me right back home to limestone heaven, listening for the distinct sound of big browns sipping bugs after dark. The Haerer Books crew had an amazing trip to South County, RI, to kick off July. We had the perfect seat for fireworks, caught 7 different species from the surf after stocking up at , landed some giant stripers with for my son’s birthday, and much, much more. Sorry about the bad photo, but this was pretty cool to wake up to this morning—I’ve hit 1000 positive feedbacks on eBay. I really don’t want to jinx it (as I knock on wood), but I’m lucky to say that I’ve had zero negative feedback along the way. Cheers to the next 1000!

We are in the process of adding about fifty new titles to our eBay store and about a dozen unique items to our website. This is among the books headed to eBay—‘How to Catch Trout’ by Three Anglers (1922). It isn’t particular pricy, but it’s a cool little book that doesn’t turn up often stateside. It will be live early tomorrow morning, or message me.

It’s not every day that you open a book about fishing and find a presidential signature. This classic from Lee Wulff was signed by Jimmy Carter for the Catskill Fly Fisher’s Club as a limited edition for their library. Available now on our website (link in bio).

I’m fortunate to have a number of rare volumes from the Tuscarora Club offered for sale on the website. The Catskill club is best known for its notable fishing and esteemed members. These books don’t hit the open market very often, and I suspect they won’t last long.

One of my favorite fly fishing pieces is headed to NYC. ‘The Fly Young Knight’ is a poem that was written by Frederick Whiting in 1927. It is adorned with a variety of fly patterns featured in the poem. This piece has a rich history, told in full on our website.
