Some journeys have a way of bringing you right back where they began.
As teenagers, JC and I got our first taste of the pawn business at Gold and Pawn. It was there that we learned the value of hard work, built lifelong relationships, and discovered a love for the pawn industry that would become much more than a career—it became part of who we are.
Over the years, JC spread his wings and chased a dream, and I happily tagged along as his Robin to his Batman. Together, we’ve been blessed by the support of so many wonderful customers and communities. Your trust and loyalty has allowed us to grow far beyond anything we could have imagined.
Now, life has come full circle.
We are excited and humbled to announce that we are returning to our roots as the new owners of Gold and Pawn. Even more exciting, we are bringing our Tri-State Pawn & Jewelry family together under one roof. Our 29th Street location and our 4th Avenue location will be combined with our new Gold and Pawn location, creating one big Tri-State Pawn & Jewelry store to better serve Huntington and the entire Tri-State area.
This location holds so many memories for us, and we are honored to continue its legacy while beginning a new chapter. By bringing everything together, we’ll be able to offer an even larger selection, more services, and the same hometown commitment that has defined us for the past 30 years.
Perhaps what excites us most is knowing that this dream doesn’t end with us. We are incredibly proud to see a second generation of our family now working alongside us. Watching them learn the business, build relationships, and develop the same passion that captured our hearts as teenagers is truly special. What started as a dream years ago has become a family legacy, and we are excited to know that the dream will continue for generations to come.
From two teenagers who fell in love with the pawn business at Gold and Pawn, to coming back home years later, we are grateful for every customer, every friend, and every memory that has brought us to this moment.
