🍁🌱🌺Want to know the secrets to getting your mum blooms to last longer?🌻🍂🎃

1. Pick a plant that still has some tight buds that are barely cracked open with color. Mum blossoms open gradually giving you more and more color for weeks.

2. Give them enough water and do it at the base, not over head on the flowers. Mums can surprise you with how much water they can suck up on a warm day. If they run too dry, they will blow out their blooms faster.

3. Give them Sun! Mums in the shade tend to fade and stop opening fresh flowers.

4. Removing old blooms once they turn brown will speed up the process for a fresh new one to open in it's place.

5. Give them some fertilizer. All purpose will do! This keeps them strong and happy to keep producing blooms.

This should keep your mums happy well into the cool fall season. Another fun fact, mum colors usually change once frosts start settling. Keep them going to see the full transformation.
