Today, we’re celebrating Olander Earthworks, owned by Andrew and Sarah Lonnquist in Portland, Oregon. Andrew’s background in sculpture and Sarah’s creative spirit come together in a business that invites you to touch, explore, and play.

Their handcrafted, interactive creations combine tactile textures and elemental inspiration, encouraging imaginative play and moments of connection on your journey to wellbeing.

Inspired by food allergies and dietary restrictions in their family, Roaring Fork Spice Co. began creating simple, delicious seasonings for their own kitchen. Their first fajita blend led to Daily Red, Italian seasoning, and a growing collection of family favorites.

When they shared their blends as Christmas gifts, friends and family loved them so much they encouraged them to turn their passion into a business. And Roaring Fork Spice Co. was born!

A self-proclaimed “imperfectionist,” she creates from heart to hand—free from the rules of perfect symmetry and formality. Meet Annie Brooks — A True Master of Her Craft
Some artists become more than part of a gallery—they become part of its heart and family. Annie Brooks is absolutely one of those people. ❤️
Annie’s talent seems to know no bounds. From her beautiful glasswork and incredible pottery to custom iron stands and her much-loved pet irons, her work reflects decades of knowledge, creativity, and true mastery of her craft. She doesn’t simply make art—she understands her materials, her process, and the artistry behind every piece. We are so fortunate to have that depth of knowledge and talent represented at the Aspen Emporium.
But what makes Annie even more special are the connections that surround her. Summy Kay of Zen & Bones, another member of our Emporium family, has known Annie for years and was mentored by her from a young age. There is something pretty incredible about seeing those artistic relationships come full circle under one roof.
And Annie holds an especially special place in my heart. My husband actually took Annie’s class in high school nearly 30 years ago! The best part? I found Annie and brought her into the Aspen Emporium without ever knowing about their history. ❤️ Sometimes you find the right people without realizing just how connected your stories already are.
Annie, we celebrate not only your glass, ironwork, pottery and incredible artistry, but your knowledge, mentorship, friendship, and the presence you bring to our collective.

Mrs. Becki Butterfield is the amazing artist behind B.Butterfield Metalworks. She is a metalsmith, lapidary artist, and gem enthusiast based in Sheridan, Wyoming, where the Big Horn Mountains shape the horizon and inspire her work.

Each piece she creates is infused with the spirit of the West: rugged, timeless, and deeply connected to the land. Each stone she sets carries a story, most are treasures unearthed in America by mindful miners who honor the land as much as the sparkle it holds. Through curated collections she showcases unique gems and minerals to showcase the elements of our wild world.

"My process is both art and alchemy, transforming raw beauty into refined designs that allow the stones to shine. Barbara Luton with Grand Lake Embroidery, bringing the Colorado lifestyle to life one incredible stitch at a time!
She is an Argentinian‑born artist whose work blends heritage, fashion, and the raw beauty of nature into one unforgettable visual language.
Raised in Buenos Aires, she learned embroidery at home — sitting beside her mother and grandmothers, absorbing the traditional techniques and storytelling that would later define her artistic identity. She earned her Bachelor’s in Marketing from Universidad Abierta Interamericana, a foundation that now fuels her sharp eye for design, branding, and trend forward creativity.

From tiny skiers carving their way across cozy sweaters and beanies to their beautiful Aspen mountain designs, these pieces capture everything we love about mountain life — playful, stylish, cozy, and completely unique.

And can we talk about the DETAIL?! 😍 The miniature skiers embroidered onto these pieces are absolutely adorable. At the heart of her work is connection — with customers, store owners, and anyone who finds meaning in her pieces. Whether creating custom orders to ship across the country or designing a surprise gift for someone special, Barbara’s mission is simple: to make people feel unique, confident, and seen through wearable art.

Today’s artist highlight is extra special because this one is truly a family affair, and we value them as family at The Aspen Emporium.

For more than a decade, Alan Moore has brought his five children into his wonderfully creative world of recycled folk art. What began with helping Dad at art festivals and around the studio has grown into the Moore Family Folk Art—a family built around creativity, sustainability, and making something extraordinary from things others might throw away.

Alan’s daughters, Isabella and Emma, have grown from studio helpers into artists in their own right, selling their work across the country and teaching recycled-art classes to both children and adults. His sons, Aidan, Liam, and Kian, have been part of the journey too—helping along the way and beginning to explore their own creativity.
And just look at this work! Bottle caps, recycled cans, color, imagination and a whole lot of personality come together to create pieces you simply have to see up close.
The Moore family’s mission goes beyond creating incredible art. They strive to encourage family creativity and environmental stewardship, showing that discarded materials can be transformed into something joyful, meaningful—and seriously COOL.
Their work can be found in galleries, shops, restaurants and events throughout Colorado and Florida, and we’re so proud to have the Moore Family Folk Art represented at Aspen Emporium. ♡

Today we’re shining the spotlight on Billie Jensen, founder of Selvéa Skincare—a woman who turned personal experience, professional knowledge, and years of working hands-on with women into a skincare line built with real intention.

Billie is a licensed cosmetologist, small-town business owner, mother, and someone who has personally navigated acne, barrier damage, and the frustration of overhyped skincare.

Today we’re celebrating the incredibly talented Tammie Lane—an artist whose love for the outdoors has been woven into her work for more than 40 years.
Growing up visiting her grandfather’s ranch, Tammie spent her days roaming the countryside, riding horses, exploring fields, and falling in love with the beauty of the natural world. That connection has stayed with her throughout her life and continues to inspire what she creates today.
As a longtime plein air painter, Tammie paints on location, capturing the moments many of us might otherwise walk right past—the last light hitting a mountain meadow, an old rundown farm, or the quiet beauty found in an ordinary landscape.
And her talent doesn’t stop with a paintbrush!
About 20 years ago, Tammie added clay and Raku ceramics to her artistic journey. She loves the unpredictability of Raku—the way fire becomes part of the creative process, much like the beautiful surprises that happen with watercolor.
Today, Tammie creates across three mediums: watercolor, oil, and clay, each giving her a different way to tell the stories of the places and moments that inspire her.
We are so proud to have Tammie Lane represented at Aspen Emporium. Her work is beautiful, soulful, and unmistakably connected to the outdoors we all love.
