My most recent award winning bear. He won first place, Judges Award, and Best of Show at this year's California Mid State Fair. Keep tuned to this page for up coming information about two bears and a kitty that are going to be available on Paws Cause site. The kitty and one of the bears will be dressed like Santa Clause and the other bear will be dressed like Mrs. Clause. Both Santa's will have gift bags filled with gifts for the kitties and owners. Mrs. Clause will have cat treats. There also will be surprise gifts in the bags for the winning bidders...but I can't give any hints right now, you have to wait for hints coming starting in November.

Paws Cause is always accepting donations, we receive few grants and have NO paid employees. We're a small group of animal loving volunteers who open their hearts and homes to needy kitties and even the occasional puppy. Our budget is tiny in comparison to some of the other animal rescue groups, but our hearts are huge!

PLEASE PLEASE remember to spay and neuter your animals. They don't miss their reproductive organs and it reduces the over population and euthanizing at the animal shelters. How could you stand to see a beautiful face like this extinguished? This baby was lucky, he found a home through PAWS CAUSE in Paso Robles California! Look for them on Face Book and watch for their upcoming auction for wonderful Christmas gift and decorative items.

If you want to learn more about my teddy bears, either find KPRL on the internet at KPRL.com, sound off or tune into 1230 on the am dial. I will be interviewed on the radio station from 12:30 to 1 p.m. on Tuesday December 13, 2011. If I am up to my usual ways, it will be a fun interview, which is to be conducted by Jeff Bradley of KPRL. Keep listening to the station for future teddy bear give-a-ways. Also, there are new bears on display at Eden's Attic (5908 Entrada, Atascadero California). I will be posting pictures of the bears in the next couple of days so they also are available for ordering and shipping. We can ship within the 48 continuous states and should be able to get the bear to your home in time for Christmas. Happy Holidays to all. May you have as much magic in your Christmas season as I have had in mine! It has been a truely wonderful and magical Christmas for me, and saying it has been just wonderful is an understatement!!!

Welcome to the world of Beary Elite Bears. The bears have been designed and made by the artist for 27 years! Each bear is made with love by Toni LoCicero, who has been envolved in arts and crafts for almost all of her life.

The teddy bears are fully jointed and are made of either acrylic, imported acrylic, or mohair. Their eyes are either acrylic safety eyes (especially for teddy bears made of children) or they are imported glass "shoe button" or antique shoe buttons (for the adult collectors). The paws and soles are ultrasuede and of course they are stuffed with either polyester fiberfill or excelsior. The noses are hand embroidered on every bear so that they have their own personality and aren't given that mass manufactured look. Their prices will be at a point that even the beginning collector will be able to purchase a new hug member with a clear conscious!

More bear pictures will be posted as the bears are completed and available for adoption. So make sure that you visit the site often to catch sight of the new kids on the wall. I hope you will have as much fun viewing the bears as I do creating them!
