The city I call home is the greatest city of them all. Obviously, with everything going on in the US, especially NYC, this city has been hit hard. But the best thing about NYC, is that it gets itself back up and builds itself back to the great and beautiful city it’s known as around the world. We will get through this just like anything else this city went through.
Today’s outfit was one that I’ve been excited to put together since it’s been way to hot to comfortably wear this without sweating my butt off. The stacked skinny isn’t my favorite jean, but this look was just made with the stack of the excess denim at the bottom hitting the Chelsea boot. The Airflex+ stretch in them is so comfy that the jeans just move with you. Also, this hooded denim jacket helped keep me warm today since I was wearing a cropped destroyed band tee I customized. NYC and my style just go perfectly together🏙

With all the crazy event planning and being on top of posting and struggling to get that done with getting back to “normal” routine of my life. One person I do know I have to support me to help me through all of this is the QWEEN of influencing, .selle.h ! I met this girl before the influencer program began at a shoot for & honestly we click with our love and obsession for AE. Don’t know if I could find anyone that loves AE like me other than her. Thank you for being a friend and ally to me during this program. I go to you for a lot of advice and to vent and I’m so glad that you have been there for me and I hope you know I’m here for you as well. Also thank you for being a pivotal part of this program and it’s inception. Without you, I wouldn’t have the opportunities that I have received the past couple of months. So I want to say thank you so much for everything qween.

This is OUR time to be positive change.

You guys with everything going on in the country right now. We need to be the voices of change. We cannot rely on others to do it for us. As the saying goes, if you can’t get someone else to do it, you might as well do it yourself. This includes change. We have to be the beginning of positive change in our country for things like ending systemic racism, eliminating the current day internment camps within our borders, giving a clear message to rapists that ‘No means no’, and that everyone should be able to live in this country freely, equally, and happily.

Finally! I made a video haul of the things was so kind enough to send my way❤️ let’s give me a break I’m not the best at making videos, so I didn’t edit anything. Just giving everyone a to just remind everyone to !!! This isn’t a joke & we haven’t found a vaccine yet. We need to stay smart and safe while we’re trying to go on with your daily lives. Make sure to wash your damn hands all the time & wear a damn mask whenever you leave the house and go into public spaces. Better to be safe than sorry.

These nylon shorts are honestly such a great addition to my closet. The breathable material makes it easy to move around in, especially on these humid summer days in the City. Ive had a hard time getting myself to take pictures like this for anyone else to see for a couple months. Rona did me dirty. It didn’t help me with my mental health what so ever with everything else going on in the world. But with the help of some of my fellow influencers, I was able to find the confidence to love myself and my body for what it is. It’s a struggle for me but hey, so what if I have some belly fat where I use to have abs? Who cares if I have chichos now? I love me for me and I’ll continue to do what I need to do to love myself more.
