Eight Roots

A little painting, a lot of sweeping, endless cleaning, and plenty of behind the scenes work. 🧹🎨

A little behind the scenes look at what’s been happening inside Eight Roots lately! There’s still plenty of work ahead, but it’s exciting to see everything slowly coming together. We know these updates might not look like much just yet, but every little bit of progress brings us closer to welcoming you through our doors.

Thanks for following along as we bring new life to this historic building in downtown Athens!!

Where good things take root. 🌱

Due to incoming inclement weather, we are putting safety first and rescheduling Pumpkintown to October 24, 2026.

We care deeply about our vendors and community. With the possibility of strong winds and heavy rain, we are making the difficult decision to reschedule Pumpkintown to Saturday, October 24, 2026.

Vendors, you should have received an email with a survey at the end on if you will be attending the rescheduled date. Please remember, we are a small committee and are working as diligently as possible to get all needs addressed.

Thank you for understanding. We look forward to seeing you on October 24, 2026.

‼️ UPDATE ‼️ Due to construction setbacks, we won’t be able to welcome vendors or visitors inside the building during Pumpkin Town, and we won’t be hosting a sneak peek just YET!

We’ve reached out to everyone who expressed interest in vending, and we’re so grateful for your excitement and patience while we work through the next steps. As soon as we’re able to open the doors for a walkthrough, we’ll share the news here first. We hate having to announce this, but that’s part of it sometimes!! Thank you for cheering us on while we get this space ready for the community! 🌿
