Comfort plushies, onesies, toothpaste with milder flavors, all-occasion cards, and more are in development now. Back in 2010, I reached the end of the commercial soap aisle still no closer to finding a bar everyone in my household could use without one or the other of us reacting poorly. So I started making soap myself. I began hearing others comment on trouble with skin allergies, so I decided to
make my detergent and dye free, handmade, goat milk soaps available to others. My other bath and body products are designed to be just as gentle and effective. Being an avid crafter, I make some of my loom knit (otherwise known as French knitting), crochet, felting, and books available as well. The shutdown of conventions and craft shows in 2020 put the last nail in the coffin of Contented Comfort's first iteration. However, the increased free time, boredom, and kids' tendency to look into the future for what they will become drove the kiddos to experiment with new hobbies and develop a desire to try their hand at business. I have held onto the old Contented Comfort domain name to keep my email, so we decided to create a new business by recycling what was left of the old and infusing it with their new ideas. Thus, Contented Comfort Creations was born.
