As many of you know by now a federal judge struck the NFA and suppressor registry a huge blow this week. We have been asked a few times already what the new rules for suppressor transfers will do.

As of right now, nothing official has come out from the ATF, nothing about the mechanism that will replace the old system. Until the ATF officially replaces the old system with a new one we will have to stay within the existing rules and do suppressor transfers as we have always done. Some of the bigger dealers have taken the stance of “we will do it now and lawyer up”. Since I have no desire, nor the money, to fight the government over this or risk losing my license for doing something outside of the man’s rules, we will wait and see how this all shakes out!
