Happy Monday friends♥️ it’s a stormy ⛈️⛈️⛈️day here which makes sense since we were trying to move furniture in and out of my space with the pickup this morning!! Thank goodness for my husband and his tarping and strapping skills! Let me start by saying ever since I was sick and eventually diagnosed with Sarcoids my lungs are extremely compromised so it makes it hard for me to lift anything heavy without it being difficult for me to breath which in turn makes me feel weak. The hardest part was me trying to lift an extremely heavy table down from the truck. Then down a long walkway and up three steps! He then starts yelling “pivot” 🤣🤣to get it through the door all while the wet tarp is slipping out of my hands! I almost peed myself laughing!! Then wrap the 8 foot (even heavier) table and try to pivot that out the door and down the three steps and up the walkway and lift it up onto the back of the truck all while it down pours and thunders and lightnings!! 😮‍💨😮‍💨
By the time we did all that we were ready for a nap and some dry clothes. When I looked around and saw that my whole room was torn apart I almost started crying haha!! 2 1/2 hours later and it looks pretty again! There’s lots more I could’ve done but I called it quits! now that it’s done the sun is coming out🙄
Isn’t that just how life goes? We are learning to roll with it and let things be what they are and keep a positive attitude♥️

Happy Thursday everyone💛 hope you have enjoyed this wacky New England week of weather! We’ve had thunder storms, cool nights, hot nights, cloudy days and some sunny hot and humid days! I’ll take it all! I must say I would prefer dry cooler days because I don’t like sticking to things or having them stick to me haha! But I still feel blessed for every day and I wish the same thing for you♥️ I didn’t sleep much last night so at around 3 am I decided to get up and pack up a bunch of vintage ironstone, bread boards, glove boxes and risers I’ve been staring at for two weeks and head to the shop. I did a horrible job wrapping because I was doing it in the dark🙄, could have turned a light on Ann Marie, so thankfully only two pieces of ironstone were broke when the cardboard box buckled and mostly everything hit the pavement! Oh well, lesson learned, don’t pack breakables in the dark🤣🤣
Anywho, I hope you can make it over to Main Street Vintage and support my little old small business♥️ I appreciate you so♥️

Happy Saturday lovely people🥰🥰
I hope you are all having the summer of your dreams! The weather here in NH has been up and down but overall pretty great! The season is still young though! I have been spending as much time as I can searching for great vintage and antique decor for you all♥️ Time is such a precious thing and I am grateful for every minute I am given♥️ I spent the morning at Main Street Vintage putting out a few new bits and bobs for all you weekend hunters of all things vintage♥️ We are open 10-4 today and 11-3 Sunday♥️

Well hello tornado watch
afternoon🌪️🌪️🌪️🌪️🌪️🌪️
It’s been a week!! This has been my first chance to get to the shop in two weeks!! I won’t get into all the gory details but I’ve made it through and finally was able to tag and pack some items for the shop!! Just as we were getting ready to leave and I was snapping some photos for you all, my husband yells to me that I have maybe two minutes to get myself in the truck before I’m stuck inside or get taken by the wind and rain 🤣🤣 so I ran this way and that snapping pictures and we ran hand-in-hand across the parking lot and just got into the truck when it started down pouring!!😮‍💨😮‍💨
As I started this post, I was going through the photos I took and hey, they didn’t come out too bad haha!!

Happy happy Monday friends💕
We had such a busy weekend with family stuff and a mini buying trip to Chandler & Co. , a few Facebook market finds and a small bundle of sweet items from a former fellow dealer friend♥️ It was also a busy week at the shop and many things sold. If you know me you know that I don’t like empty space, I’m a maximalist, especially in the shop. So in I went this morning and refreshed and added some of the things I was able to get cleaned and tagged from the weekend.
Main Street Vintage will be back open on Wednesday 10-5♥️
