Friday wasn't just TJ's first game of his senior season. It was also McKenzie's 17th birthday—and TJ returned to the very same field where he was injured last season.

That field held a memory.

That moment could have held fear.

But TJ stood tall.

He faced the place where the trauma happened and walked back onto that field anyway.

That's a victory.🏆

Where did my little boy go? In the blink of an eye, he's become an incredible young man.
