As a girl, being raised in black southern churches, I remember the ladies would praise, sing melodiously and fan profusely inside the church during summer. We had no air conditioning in those old wooden churches but that didn’t stop us from holding church on Sunday mornings. 🔆😊

While in Europe a couple weeks ago, the clothing fashion I spotted on the street was modern BOHO 🌻 I’ve lived and traveled in Europe for 32 years and have never seen bohemian style as a mainstream fashion.

My work involves hand beading which lends itself to a boho chic style. I love weaving colors and textures together to make contemporary art pieces.
