It's about time we had some cool underwater technology like this!

Deep-sea biologists develop artificial gills extracting oxygen from water, enabling extended diving duration. 🌊🔬

A concept that feels like science fiction has gained attention as researchers explore artificial gill technology. The idea focuses on extracting oxygen directly from water, which could allow divers to stay underwater longer without traditional tanks.

While the concept is promising, experts note that practical limitations still exist. Oxygen extraction efficiency, energy requirements, and safety concerns remain key challenges. Research continues as scientists test how such systems could work in real-world conditions.

Innovations like this reflect how science keeps pushing boundaries. Even if still developing, the idea opens discussions about future exploration and how humans may interact with extreme environments in safer and more efficient ways.

!!! Venus needed love but only received hate from its ppl now look at earth

Venus is the most extreme world where humans have ever successfully landed a spacecraft. With surface temperatures above 450°C (840°F) and atmospheric pressure nearly 95 times stronger than Earth’s, it remains one of the most unforgiving places in the Solar System. Even our toughest spacecraft have survived there for only a short time.

The first successful landing came in 1970, when the Soviet Venera 7 probe touched down and transmitted data for around 23 minutes before its mission ended.

Five years later, Venera 9 operated for about 53 minutes and made history by sending back the first photographs ever captured from the surface of another planet.

In 1978, Venera 12 survived for roughly 110 minutes, but a jammed lens cap prevented its cameras from photographing the surface.

The record still belongs to Venera 13, which landed in 1982 and remained operational for an incredible 127 minutes. During that time, it returned the first color images from Venus, recorded the first sounds from its surface, and analyzed both the atmosphere and the surrounding rocks.

More than 40 years later, no spacecraft has exceeded Venera 13’s survival time on Venus. Its remarkable achievement is a reminder that, despite decades of technological progress, Venus remains one of the most challenging destinations humanity has ever attempted to explore.
