Just coming through to say, a big THANK YOU!!! I’m so grateful for my community here at YLB. ✨ Thank you, everyone who has supported my other baby, my creative passion ❤️‍🔥

I started my company, Yesterdays Laundry Boutique back in 2019, in law school, as I was selling jewelry by hand to my law school classmates. No cute packaging or anything, people bragged so much about the jewelry & it’s quality. I started to make sales more often just by word of mouth.

I started with only one jewelry piece, IYKYK, the African pendant chain was a hot commodity especially at an HBCU Law school 🏫🖤

Moral of the story follow your passions, keep going, start over however many times you need and begin where you are and watch things grow. We aren’t where we want to be but enjoying the journey along the way has surely been fun.

When I think about where my company started and Where its going I get excited by the vision God has given me.

Let me share a story with you. Now that we know I’m obsessed with jewelry 😅 when I was in high school, I took a jewelry making class. Which turn I to@me working at my very first job at a jewelry store, Claire’s 💕 While working there, I would always ask my manager how’d they buy and sell all of this jewelry. I mean there we boat loads of this stuff. I would even do inventory at the end of the year! She told me and I never forgot it and here we are today.

This is just a gentle reminder to never give up on your goals no matter how big or small!!
