First impressions are key.
I never used to think they were that important. Personally, I’ve suffered from this mindset. My attitude used to be: “Eh, I’ll just be real. They’ll get to know the true me eventually.”
But that’s not how it works. People do judge, and they judge quickly on first impressions.
It’s the exact same with marketing and sales touchpoints.
People want to work with thoughtful people and organizations.
Want to stand out? Offer real value.
Research the prospect, offer genuine value, or send a thoughtful gift to show you respect their time and have something meaningful to offer.
It takes more time, more research, and more effort, but it’s one of the only things that actually works.
