Once I get fixated on a project, I just want to do it in every color combo 🤭🤣

As I was working on my pink and brown tulip bouquet (check previous post), I saw my yarn stash and saw these two colors together, and I just HAD to also make a bouquet with this color combo & I couldn’t be happier 🥹

I was commissioned with making an all pink bouquet, 2 different shades of pink (check previous post) but initially, it was supposed to be pink and brown. My curiosity took the best of me and I had that *itch* of still wanting to see a pink and brown bouquet so I made the vision come to life 🩷🤎

Custom bouquet N.2 🩷

Y’all already know how much I love pink, and seeing this come to life was a dream. 🩷✨

It can be a little challenging working with different weight yarn, as I had to find a way make both the same size, and with pattern modifications, I was able to make the lighter yarn tulip the same size as the worsted weight one.

Thankful for all of you who trust me with your forever bouquets 🥹🫶🏽

Took a break from market prepping and instead, this weeks project was a dress for me🥹, pattern by: Knotical Nadia for none other than Shaky Knees Festival 🙂‍↕️😎

I was nervous that I wouldn’t finish it in time as I started it on Monday, but in 4 days, it was done 🤭 I like to live on edge sometimes and this week proved no different🤣
Talk about procrastination! (I knew I was coming to this event for 6 months and waited till the week before to start my fit 🤭🤣)

I started this project with 2 skeins, and realized quickly that I needed two more, only to realize again, that I needed two more 🤣, for a grand total of 6 skeins🙏🏽

The skirt portion, slowly but surely, started requiring lots of material, but the outcome couldn’t be more perfect! It’s so flowy and this could only be achieved with more yarn 🤭. (Who am I kidding? It was unrealistic of me to think 2 skeins would be enough 🤣)

I used:
Hooks: 5.00 mm for the top, and 6.5 for the skirt
Loops and Threads yarn: Skyscape: Burgundy and light blue multi; 6 skeins
Pattern: Knotical Nadia

What I did for future reference 😎
Part 1: 12 rounds
Part 2: 11 rounds
Part 3: 18 rounds
Part 3: 33 spaces for the bottom of the top (beginning of the skirt)
Part 4: 19 rounds

This week, I made 20 roses 🙂‍↕️🌹🤍

August was a full schedule with markets, I almost sold out on roses and sunflowers, so I am restocking for this upcoming month.

I am thankful that for the first time ever, I will be at this years Harvest Fest in Marietta, GA🥹🙏🏽😭 MariettaGAParksRec on 10/17/26. Being a part of this market will be a dream come true! I love the city; Marietta Square means so much to me. I have many memories here and to be a vendor at this years Harvest Fest has me pinching myself 🥹🫶🏽 I wouldn’t believe it if you told me when I started this little business of mine 🤍✨

In preparation of this day, I am restocking on my roses, sunflowers and tulips, as well as other crochet goodies. Stay tuned for the sunflowers next 🤭🌻
