Extremely disappointed with the experience I had with James Mobile Mechanic. I paid a deposit expecting legitimate service, but received absolutely no return or completed work after payment. Communication was very unprofessional and inconsistent. When I requested a phone call for clarification, he avoided direct communication and failed to clearly address concerns.
What raised even more red flags was being sent a Venmo account for payment, then immediately being told it was the “wrong one” and being asked to send the payment again — which felt like an intentional attempt to scam me out of an additional deposit.
Overall, this experience resulted in wasted time, lost money, and zero service provided. I strongly encourage others to be cautious before sending deposits or payments without verified documentation and clear communication.
