Cousin Trella Mae Gardner of Cleveland OH has passed away. Trella, who lived to see 80 years. was the last living child of Willie King Solomon.

(Known by his 1st and middle name, "Willie King," he along with his parents and siblings was from Macon GA. Later, Willie King would relocate to Cleveland OH (circa 1940s). The history committee was incapable of receiving additional information about this branch, and or about any of their Solomons who may still reside in Macon).

Many knew Trella as never shy, quite talkative, comedic, and well-educated.

In 2017, at 74yrs, Trella rented a vehicle in Cleveland OH, to drive to the family reunion that was being held in Atlanta, alone. She would tell me that she looked forward to celebrating her July 4th birthday at the reunions with her extended family! Trella attended her last reunion in Memphis TN July 2023.
