A little trip to the French Quarter—without leaving home.
The inspiration for this home cinema came from the homeowners’ love of New Orleans. Kasabe Designs developed the room from design and engineering through AV integration, programming and installation.
Original French Quarter artwork became part of the architecture itself. Glen Hoffman of 3D Squared prepared and adapted the artwork for large-format reproduction across the fabric panels, creating a continuous streetscape that surrounds the room.
And tucked beneath the fleur-de-lis on the rear wall is one of our favorite details—a hidden pass-through connecting the cinema to the bar behind it. 🍿
Years later, this room is still a wonderful reminder that a home cinema can be more than a place to watch a movie. It can tell the homeowners’ story.
