They are a very vintage craft whose popularity was at its peak in the early 1900's. It involves making a frame upon which is built layer upon layer of cotton wool and glue. It is quite time consuming and the prices often do not reflect the hours of work. That timeless charm just cannot be achieved any other way and I am in love with this nostalgic art form! I hope you like this whimsical piece of old world charm!!
