Big things are happening at Black Magnolia, and we’re using the day to keep the new shop moving toward our December 5th Grand Opening.

But over the next several weeks, you’re going to watch us turn it into Black Magnolia 3D.

The paint. The displays. The Dragon Den. The Mini Bar. The chaos. The decisions. And eventually, the finished shop we’ve been dreaming about.

Okay, this one is a little special. 🖤📚

I had the absolute pleasure of spending some time with Tori & Chandra at The Guilty Librarian today, getting a little sneak peek before they officially open their doors.

And somehow I got the honor of being the very first customer to have a book embossed with their Guilty Librarian stamp. 😭🖤

And obviously… I chose Alchemised. Because apparently I have a type. 😂

Their space is BEAUTIFUL. I could have stayed forever talking books, small business, creativity, and all the wonderfully weird things we love.

The Guilty Librarian officially opens October 3rd, and y’all are going to want to see what this mother-daughter duo has created. 🖤📚

🖤🥀 Meet Belladonna.

Beautiful. Dark. And named after something just a little dangerous.

Inspired by the deadly nightshade, Belladonna is the third and final statement piece we’re bringing to Pensacola Oddities today.

Black on black with the slightest purple shimmer, deep plum and ivory florals, and those incredible sweeping antlers. Every detail was finished and arranged by hand to create a one-of-a-kind piece of Black Magnolia art.

I probably shouldn’t admit this before putting her up for sale today but… I think she might be my favorite. 🫣🖤

Only one exists, and she’ll be available today at Pensacola Oddities.

The second statement piece headed to Pensacola Oddities tomorrow—and she definitely came to make an entrance.

Deep black. Burnished copper. Autumn florals. A touch of teal. And those antlers. 😮‍💨

Everyone knows us for our dragons, fidgets & minis… but the art will forever be my heart. 🖤

There’s something different about taking a print and turning it into a piece that feels completely mine—painting every detail, building the florals, adding the little touches, and watching the whole thing come together.

This is Mourning Bloom. 💀🥀

Black, aged turquoise, deep florals, warm rust and just a touch of gold. She’s big, dramatic, a little strange, and everything I love about creating for Black Magnolia.

And she’ll be coming with us to Pensacola Oddities this Saturday. 🖤

The dragons may have helped people find us.
