Ready for another piece of maple wisdom from our friend Steve Childs?? OK, so here it is ... For maple sugar, simply replace one cup of white sugar with one cup of granulated maple sugar. DID YOU KNOW?? Just reading an article by Steve Childs in "The Maple News" and thought you'd like to know this ..... To balance the liquid in a recipe when replacing white sugar with maple syrup, you need to reduce other liquids in the recipe, such as water or milk, between 1/3 and 1/2 cup, for each cup of sugar replaced.

Last Sunday we had a Coffee-Social after church. Everyone brings something to share and we get to visit with our church family. I brought the no-bake maple cheesecake but I did it in muffin tins with red-white-and blue cupcake papers. Needless to say, it was a hit!!
