This Easter season has been different for us!
ER, ICU, Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital, hours of driving to different cities, lots of PT, OT, ST, Nurses, Doctors, Aides, Social Workers, Patient Advocates, Psychology, Medical Staff and ambulance workers, EMT, Paramedics. Those ER Nurses that cut through all the red tape to administer care, you are amazing Thank You! Because of you the damage stopped!!!!
An Easter basket sits unopened and that’s ok, it will wait until you get home.
The kindness of friends/neighbors will forevermore be appreciated.
I said to a friend recently “the silence in the house is so loud” it’s crazy how that works.
We realize life has changed as we know it and that’s ok. We are grateful we get more time.
This time of year is so meaningful in my faith. A Time of Renewal, Rebirth and Growth. A beautiful RN asked if she could pray 🙏🏻 over my husband and she did. It was moving and beautiful to see the calm that came over him. He slept that day/night for the first time in 3/4 days! He finally rested and let go of his pain, anxiety and frustration.
I realize this is my crafty page and we will get back to that in time. I may repost some oldies but goodies. My husband was my last set of eyes on all my projects! He was the quality control guy! I may make some sit and chill EPP, knitting and crocheting projects.
I wanted to thank the behind the scenes community and friends that have held this tired lady out! Your gifts, friendships, acts of love and kindness have not gone unnoticed! You are loved and appreciated. Even those words of encouragement have lifted my heart to a higher level!
