We are recruiting volunteers that want to be on our Advisory Board. The Advisory Board is made up of Supporters, Volunteers, Business Owners, and other people that want to see us succeed, but don’t necessarily want to have the time commitment of being on the Board of Directors.
The duties would be to attend a monthly meeting where they would openly share ideas with a Member of our Board of Directors and Members of the Working Team including myself, the Executive Director. These ideas are crucial to the growth of any Nonprofit.
The second role the Members of the Advisory board participate in is being on committees such as the fundraising committee, membership committee, event committee, etc. to assist us with making sure that these activities are successful.
I can assure you that your hard work and dedication won’t go unnoticed and you will get so much out of the experiences that you will have. There’s absolutely nothing like the opportunity and feeling of belonging you get when you see the successes of families rebuilding after trauma and knowing that you were a part of it. It’s addictive, I promise.
