Good Morning! 🏌 Happy Tuesday!
When we started MillerTime Tools, we were focused on building the business. Creating products, figuring things out as we went, getting our name out there, finding places to sell, making sales, and just trying to keep moving forward.
We were so focused on building something that we didn’t always realize how much we were changing and growing along the way.
This journey has taught us patience in ways we probably never wanted to learn. It has taught us discipline when the motivation wasn’t there, humility when things didn’t work out the way we thought they would, and persistence when the easier choice would have been to just stop trying.
There have been plenty of moments where we wonder if we’re doing enough, moving fast enough, or if all the hours we’re putting into this are actually making a difference.
People see the new products, the restocks, the events, the new places we’re stocked, and the orders going out the door. But there is SO much more happening behind the scenes that nobody sees.
The late nights and early mornings, the trial and error, the ideas that didn’t work, the things we had to learn as we went. The decisions we second guessed, the products that took forever to get right, the little wins that might not look like much to anyone else, but meant everything to us.
And honestly, the growth behind the scenes is just as important as the growth of the business itself. Because we’re not just building a business, we’re becoming different people through the process.
We’re learning how to be more patient, more consistent, more creative, more resilient, and more willing to keep going even when the results aren’t happening as quickly as we’d like.
That’s the part you don’t always see when you look at someone’s business from the outside. You see the finished product, the post, the sale, the event, or the new opportunity.
You don’t see all the work, uncertainty, mistakes, learning, and personal growth that had to happen to get there. And maybe that’s the biggest reminder this journey has given us.
Not all progress is visible - Sometimes you’re growing the business, sometimes you’re growing yourself and sometimes you’re doing both at the exact same time without even realizing it.
When we look back at where we started and where we are now, we can see that MillerTime Tools has given us so much more than a business. It has given us lessons, experiences, challenges, opportunities, memories, and a whole lot of growth that we’ll carry with us no matter where this crazy journey takes us.
So here’s to the growth nobody sees - the growth happening in the background, the growth that doesn’t show up in numbers. The growth that happens when you keep going! 🤝🌱
