Quick trip to San Francisco with a friend for a funeral. While they took care of business, I found some sunshine and a quiet spot to read my Main Street handbook.
Truth is, I really needed the stillness. My brain hasn’t been in a great place lately, and being alone with my thoughts can feel overwhelming.
How do you deal with your thoughts when they get too loud?

My weekend was full of birthday fun 💜🎉
My oldest granddaughter turned 5 😁💜 and my brother turned 55 — both on Saturday the 24th!
Saturday started with taking Juliana balloons and a cookie to her basketball game 🏀🎈 (mom brought cupcakes for the team 😋). Then we headed to BBQ dinner at Jack’s on west valley highway to celebrate my brother’s birthday — and yes, my 97-year-old grandma made it in the picture 💕🥹
Sunday was all about Chuck E. Cheese 🧀🎉 They had SO much fun, and my little cousin was there with her baby — so excited to meet Reed for the first time 🩵
My heart is so full 💜✨
