Imagine opening this book every Christmas and looking back through 20 years of your family’s memories.

The year you got married. Bringing home your babies. Family vacations, funny little phases, the people you love, and all the moments that made each year special.

Here’s a peek inside my own Ornament Book! I’ve been going back through our earlier Christmases, adding pictures of what life looked like for our family that year, along with the little details I want to remember.

I love thinking about flipping through these pages 20 Christmases from now and remembering so much more than the ornaments on our tree.

The Ornament Book is undated, so you can start with any year and add to it every Christmas.

Beautiful from the beginning and more meaningful every year. 🤍

I love Christmas, and I used to fill December with as much Christmas as humanly possible. Every event, every activity, every festive thing we could squeeze in.

But over the years, I’ve realized that for our family, less really is more. We’ve found the traditions we love and come back to them every year. We’re more selective about what else we say yes to, which leaves us more time to actually enjoy the season together.

So, steal my family’s easy Christmas traditions:

1. Chinese food + Christmas lights
Find a meal your family loves and make it your Christmas light night meal every year. We get Chinese food, put on our pajamas, turn up the Christmas music & drive around looking for the best lights. This year my husband is even 3D printing trophies to leave for our favorite houses.

2. A family sleepover under the Christmas tree
We watch a Christmas movie, make beds in the living room and all sleep under the tree together. It’s simple and the kids think it’s magic.

3. The Christmas Yetis
We don’t have time for Elf on the Shelf 😂 Every year Santa sends our Christmas Yetis from the North Pole just to have fun with us. They don’t watch the kids, report back or get into elaborate mischief. They just do life with us for the season and head back to the North Pole on Christmas Eve.

4. A refillable Advent calendar
We invested in one we can use every year. I buy two bags of chocolate, fill it up and everyone gets one after dinner. I love that instead of buying a different calendar every December, the same one gets to become part of their Christmas memories.

5. Christmas books every night
We read the same 5 or 6 Christmas books together every night during the season.

6. The same Christmas morning breakfast
For us, it’s cinnamon rolls, sausage balls and fruit because that’s what I grew up eating on Christmas morning. Yours can be anything. Pick something your family loves and serve it every Christmas until just the smell of it feels like Christmas morning.

7. The Ornament Book
Every year we choose an ornament that represents something from our year, add a photo and write down the memories from that year.

Meet the Family Edition 🤍

Think of it as an heirloom version of an adult scrapbook or family yearbook, made to tell the story of your life one year at a time.

Each year, choose an ornament that represents your year, add a favorite photo, and fill the pages with the highlights, milestones and little moments that made that year yours.

And despite the name, the Family Edition isn’t just for families with children. Whether you’re building a life of your own, newly married, raising a family, enjoying an empty nest, or somewhere entirely in between, there’s a place for your story here.

New homes, favorite trips, celebrations, big changes, ordinary days and all the little things that defined that season of life.

The Ornament Book is undated, so you can start any year and keep adding to it every Christmas, creating an heirloom of the life you’ve lived along the way.

This is actually part of the reason the Family Ornament Book exists. 🤍

When my husband and I were dating, he gave me a Diet Coke ornament for Christmas because I loved Diet Coke. And I mean loved Diet Coke.

Case in point: on the way from our wedding ceremony to our reception, we went through the McDonald’s drive-thru so I could get one. Yes, in my wedding dress.

When I got pregnant a few years later apparently growing a human was the one thing powerful enough to end my Diet Coke era. 😂 I completely lost my taste for it and, weirdly enough, it never really came back.

Which is why that ornament holds so many memories. It takes me right back to that season of my life.

That Diet Coke ornament was actually part of the inspiration behind the Family Ornament Book. I loved the idea of having a place to keep the memories from that year to be able to look back on year after year.

An heirloom with all our favorite memories.

I made the book undated so it would be the perfect gift for any season of your life. And despite the name, the Family Edition isn’t just for families with children. It’s for your story, whatever your family looks like right now. Start it on your own, as a couple, or with a house full of people you love, and let it grow with you through the years.

The Ornament Book comes in two editions, family and children’s, each created to hold a different part of your family’s story. 🤍

The Children’s Edition follows your child through 18 years, capturing the things they loved, the funny things they said, favorite memories, who they were becoming, and the ornament chosen for them that year.

Because the little boy obsessed with buses becomes the first grader riding one to school for the first time. The little things that feel so ordinary now become the pieces of childhood you want to look back on always.

And after 18 Christmases, there’s a page in the back to write them a letter before the book and their ornaments become theirs to keep.

Available in blue and pink!

His first birthday is getting close, and somehow the third time around feels completely different. 🤍

A little more tired, a little more aware of how quickly it all goes, and getting to watch three completely different little people grow up alongside each other.

I’m ready for more sleep 😂 but I know I’ll miss this version of us, too.
