WOW… what a day. ❤️

As we look through these photos from yesterday, we’re feeling incredibly grateful.

Our 1st Birthday Celebration was everything we hoped it would be and more. The laughter, the smiles, the families, the conversations, and the overwhelming support reminded us just how lucky we are to be part of this amazing community.

What started as a dream one year ago has grown into something truly special because of YOU. Every customer who has shopped with us, shared a post, told a friend about us, or simply walked through our doors has played a part in our journey. We can never fully express how much that means to us.

We also want to give a huge shoutout to the amazing people and businesses who helped make yesterday such a success:

🌭🍦 Auburn Dairy Freeze for serving up delicious hot dogs and ice cream and helping keep everyone smiling.

⛳🎮 Shank’s Golf Lounge for providing free golf and games that were a huge hit with guests of all ages.

🚒❤️ The Auburn Fire Department for bringing a fire truck for everyone to see up close. It was such a fun experience for the kids (and adults too!) and made the day even more memorable.

🎈 Janet for creating the cutest balloon creations and bringing so much joy to the kids.

🎨 Bloom & Brush for the incredible face paintings and turning little faces into works of art.

❤️ And of course, our entire Big Lou’s Crew. Yesterday took a tremendous amount of planning, preparation, and hard work. From setting up early in the morning to keeping everything running smoothly throughout the day, our team went above and beyond. We couldn’t do any of this without them.

To everyone who came out to celebrate with us—thank you. Whether you stopped by for a few minutes or spent the entire afternoon with us, you helped make our first birthday one we’ll never forget.

These photos capture some wonderful moments, but they don’t fully capture how special it felt to see our store filled with so much happiness and support.

🎉 TODAY IS THE DAY! BIG LOU’S BARGAINS IS OFFICIALLY ONE YEAR OLD! 🎉

One year ago today, we opened our doors with a dream of creating a place where families could find great deals, feel welcomed, and be part of something bigger than just a store.

This morning, before the doors even opened, our team was already hard at work setting up for today’s celebration. Looking around at everything coming together—the giveaways, the activities, the food, and all the fun planned—we couldn’t help but reflect on how far we’ve come in just one year.

What started as an idea has become a community.

We’ve watched customers become friends, met countless amazing families, celebrated life’s little moments with you, and received support that has exceeded every expectation we ever had. Every visit, every purchase, every share, every recommendation, and every kind word has helped build Big Lou’s Bargains into what it is today.

Today isn’t just our birthday—it’s a celebration of all of you. This store wouldn’t be here without the incredible community that has supported us from day one.
