We love having Rosa as a Wrapette!

EMPLOYMENT SPOTLIGHT: Today we are spotlighting Rosa’s jobsite, Wrapsody!
Established in 2004, Wrapsody is a locally-owned gift boutique with locations in Hoover, Trussville, & Auburn, AL. Wrapsody strives to provide the highest quality gifts, home accessories, seasonal décor, clothing, handbags, jewelry, and more. Their online store showcases a small sample of what the three retail locations offer. Fun Fact: Wrapsody is in walking distance from the EAGLES building, in the heart of downtown Auburn!

At her site, Rosa steams clothes, tags items, receives and sorts merchandise, and assists with customer engagement.

We love having Rosa as a Wrapette!

Rosa has been thriving at her work-based training site, Wrapsody! She has developed a passion for working with people, and creating new relationships in her role at work!

Ms. Rachel Acosta, Wrapsody’s store manager, said in our most recent Expanding EAGLES meeting that through her work relationship with Rosa, she has learned that “just because someone has an Intellectual Disability, it doesn’t define work ethic… if anything, it pushes the employee harder!” Ms. Rachel describes Rosa as having a contagious, fun persona and exceptional work ethic as well as determination!
