A tree with strawberries? Well, sort of! 🍓🌳

Meet the Strawberry Tree (Arbutus ‘Marina’), an evergreen favorite with glossy green leaves, beautiful peeling bark, and little red fruits that look just like strawberries!

One of the coolest things about this tree is that it blooms in fall, often showing off clusters of delicate, bell-shaped flowers alongside its colorful fruit. It’s also drought-tolerant once established and a great choice for Mediterranean-inspired gardens.

A little unusual, a lot beautiful, and definitely worth a spot in your garden!

A trip to Green Acres where I actually left with ONLY what I came for. A small miracle. 😂🌿

I was in the middle of styling a project and needed the perfect potted plant to finish off a space. Green Acres to the rescue!

This has been my go-to nursery for years. Everything is so well organized, the staff actually knows their stuff, and the selection is incredible. Plants, pottery, seasonal decor, you name it. And the pricing is always great.

I was in and out in no time, which is exactly what I needed today!

Although, if I hadn’t been on a mission, I could have easily spent another hour wandering around.

Fall is one of the best times to plant a tree! 🌳

Cooler temperatures and warm soil give roots the chance to establish before next summer’s heat arrives. Planting now means a stronger, more resilient tree come spring.

And if you’re still deciding what to plant, now is a great time to wander the nursery! Many of our trees are beginning to show off their fall colors, so you can see their seasonal beauty before bringing one home.

Come find your new favorite fall tree! 🍂

Plant now, harvest later! 🧄🌱

Fall is the perfect time to get garlic in the ground. Plant individual cloves this season, let them establish roots through the cooler months, and look forward to harvesting your own homegrown garlic next summer!

A few planting tips:
🧄 Plant cloves pointed side up, about 2 inches deep.
🌱 Space them 4–6 inches apart in well-draining soil.
☀️ Choose a spot with plenty of sunshine.
💧 Keep soil evenly moist, but not soggy.
