I had so much fun visiting Karen at Uptown Marketplace at Westtown. ❤️
I walked in excited to see all the different vendors and unique finds, but the best part of my visit ended up being sitting down with Karen and hearing how it all came together.
She shared stories about her family, her business, and how Uptown Marketplace has grown over the years. After talking with her, it was easy to see that this place is about so much more than shopping. Karen has created a place where local vendors have the opportunity to share what they love with our community, and you can see how much thought she's put into every part of it.
One of my favorite parts of our conversation was hearing that it all started with the handmade dolls you see behind us in this picture. Looking around Uptown Marketplace now, it's amazing to see how something she loved creating has grown into a place that's filled with so many talented local vendors and one-of-a-kind finds.
Meeting people like Karen is exactly why I love what I do. There are so many incredible business owners in our community, and every one of them has a story worth telling. ❤️
If you haven't been to Uptown Marketplace at Westtown yet, go spend some time there. Walk through every booth, meet the vendors, and support the small businesses that make our community so special.
We're already working on our 2027 Little Guide, and I'd love to meet even more local business owners. If you've ever wondered if Little Guide would be a good fit for your business, send me a message. I'd love to grab a cup of coffee, get to know you, and see if we're a good fit.
