Aulun has known since she was a young girl that she was going to wear a Juliet Cap veil on her wedding day. She knew that once she found her veil, the perfect gown to complement it would fall into place.
This Juliet Cap veil was designed with handmade appliques cut from vintage lace that I have been saving for over thirty years. I knew that it had to be tucked away for a unique and romantic creation and when I learned of Aulun's hope, I knew that this beautiful bride was just the young woman that it was meant for.
The veil was cut from a soft ivory tulle. Each applique was then carefully pinned, stitched into place and further trimmed to create this subtle and romantic edging. The unique gathering of the cap resulted in the perfect frame for her beautiful face.
