Why do I use Pink Himalayan salt in all of my soaks and scrubs?

Here is why---

Pink Himalayan salt is a unique salt that can be reffered to as rock salt.
The history of Pink salt:

Dates back to Earth’s creation and is believed to be composed of dried remnants of the original, primal sea (Whaaattttt?!? Cool right?)

This salt is classified as rock salt or halite, which comes from the Punjab region of Pakistan about 190 miles from the Himalayas.

About me: In 2010, I started "Love & Laughender Apothecary"... I have always loved making handmade products and doing herbal research. My favorite classes in college were Botanical Pharmacology and Herbal Remedies. I have had internships and apprenticeships with herbal masters and holistic practitioners to expand my knowledge in traditional medicine.

After many years of still creating hand made products I decided to start a Holistic Boutique, "Wolfe Joy", with the middle names of my 2 children... This has created a space to continue to create and to teach others about holistic wellness which is my hearts desire! I am so happy with having this small business and being able to create products with my littles by my side.

The bottom line, if I am not creating and using my knowledge to help someone else find love, joy or peace, I am not growing... I will never be stagnant...always learning, always moving, always doing. I attribute my work ethic and creativity (especially with plants!) to both sets of my hard-working, farm-raised grandparents. Through them, my parents demonstrated hard work at home and in the yard. We always had a garden and our chores always consisted of hands on garden work, I thank them for that as they continue to work by my side in the dirt! Their legacy will live on!

Did you know that the healing properties of salt synergistically work with healing botanicals? When plant properties and salt combine, they create a harmonious healing effect!

Calendula is a wonderful plant to add to baths! Organic dried petals infuse the water to help with dry, irritated skin (especially when combined with pink Himalayan salt). Calendula has anti-inflammatory properties that are highly beneficial for kids & adults!
