Espressions Coffee Community New things are coming and we're getting kind of excited to share them with you all. September is almost here!

The Leadership Center is beyond excited to be a part of the legacy that is Espressions! As a retreat & conference center, we have created moments that matter, for our guests for over 55 years. Bring Espressions under our wing, we'll be able to do the same while building community over a really good cup of coffee.

It has been an amazing morning! The Saturday mornings we’ve dreamed about and we’re so excited are finally here.

Today we also in Shop, have scribbles with Ella at 10 AM. Scribbles is a free drawing and craft lesson with Ella for all ages.

This afternoon we also have Aurora RPG group here hosting a session of Traveler. If you’ve ever wanted to do a role-play game or you just wanna jump in because you have a free afternoon, new members are always welcome. We also have extra dice!

First off, can we talk about how sharing coffee flavored cheesecake with friends should be a daily occurrence? “Siri, please add daily friendship cheesecake to my schedule! Alexa, make sure it’s on my besties schedules too!”

All jokes aside! Maile’s mom, Karen, came to town to help prep for the grand opening. While she was here, she whipped up 2 phenomenal batches of cheesecake bars (peach and cafe latte) in partnership with Penny, who whipped up gluten-free cinnamon shortbread crusts. It’s the things dreams are made of. You can find this cheesecake in our retail fridge at the front of the shop or by requesting it at the counter. Don’t walk. Run! There’s only a few pieces left and Maile‘s mom isn’t coming back to town until October…

Oh gosh, could we have asked for a better first day? No. No, we could not! Thank you everyone for coming out to show Lisa & Maile so much love and support! 🫶🏼

We loved it so much we came back today!

Monday 7 AM to 4 PM
Tuesday 7 AM to 4 PM
Wednesday 7 AM to 2 PM
Thursday 7 AM to 4 PM
Friday 7 AM to 8 PM
Saturday 8 AM to 4 PM

This is where we’re starting. We are hoping it will build our community, strong enough, to expand our hours! Until then, come in and enjoy some coffee and check out what we’ve done. You will find that we have beautiful local art, an incredible assortment of books, delicious food, and espresso, and so much more. Oh and yes, we do have gift cards!

Maile still has it! 😊 She’s been pouring Saratoga for folks who have stopped by to see if we have coffee yet! And Lisa still has her espresso arm, too! She’s been making drinks for friends who have stopped in to say hello. ☕️❤️
We can make most drinks this week! We have whole and skim milk in, and our milk alternatives will be here Friday.

So whether you’re craving an espresso drink, a coffee, or a brilliance (formally Lotus), espresso drink, feel free to stop in! And if you’re simply curious about what we’re up to, you’re absolutely welcome to come take a peek.

We don’t have any food until Tuesday, when we officially open. We’re still very much in the setup phase, but we’re just SO excited to see people again. 🥹

So stop in, say hello, check things out, and have a drink with us. We’d love to see you!

Please know that while this might be difficult news to hear, and serving the community here has been an honor, this decision was made with the utmost consideration by the The Leadership Center's Board (Nebraska Vocational Agriculture Foundation) to ensure our continued commitment to serving the community in a variety of other ways.

Effective June 4th, 2026 the new shop hours will be 6:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Saturday.

Gift cards will be honored until June 27th.
