JOB DESCRIPTION

The Laundry Attendant contributes toward high levels of guest satisfaction by ensuring the Housekeeping Department has an ongoing inventory of fresh linen to provide guests in accordance with procedures. The Laundry Attendant position is responsible for cleaning and monitoring the property linens by washing, drying, folding, and designating by size and property.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard/replace.

Inspect each finished item to ensure it meets quality standards; reclaim stained linen through the use of special stain-removing processes, and replace from office inventory when necessary.

Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, and wipe down machines as needed.

Keep washers clean according to the laundry checklist, including detergent drawers, and detergent/softener cups.

Fold cleaned linens into designated size and place in green laundry bags according to the property it was received from.

Maintain accurate records of items laundered using the provided laundry log.

Move folded and bagged linen to designated area for pickup by the housekeeping team.

Immediately notify the Housekeeping Manager of malfunctioning equipment or supply needs to ensure laundry operation remains at maximum efficiency.

Follow the provided task checklist as assigned in Breezeway.

Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures

Provide clear communication through the proper channels to ensure an all around efficient workflow.

Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards

Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period

Keep laundry room and inventory room clean and organized at all times

Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance

Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by the Housekeeping Manager.

We are looking for fun (but responsible), detail-oriented people with a passion to make things shine to join our awesome team of vacation rental home cleaners.

Duties:
Efficiently cleaning units as assigned. All turnovers must be completed between 11am and 3 pm (the time frame between guest check out and check in.
Making beds and stocking towels.
Monitoring and stocking inventory for amenities (toiletries, coffee, paper products, etc.).
Reporting any damage, repairs needed, or lost and found items to Operations Manager.
Washing and folding dirty bed linens and towels.
Must know or be willing to learn which cleaning products are used for what.
Hours and Requirements:
12-20 Hours/week: 11 am - 3 pm for cleaning + flexible time for laundry.
Available and ready to work.
Must have reliable transportation.
Able to work independently.
Excellent communication skills.

Pay range: $16-$18/hour
