Compassionate accountability: Holding ourselves and others accountable and taking responsibility for our choices and what results from them, while also understanding that trauma, life circumstances, and lack of education is often the reason behind the choices we make. We can hold space for doing the best we could or what we needed to survive, while also committing to learning,
improving, changing, and - when needed- apologizing. 💖 Know better, do better, but always be kind to yourself.

Healing looks very little like a steady climb to a better you, with a clear finishing line and climactic soundtrack. Those of us who are deep into this journey know that a big part of healing is allowing it to look and feel like it’s not working, or we’re getting “worse” sometimes. What would you add?

Hi 🖤🤍🖤 I’m still here. Have had to charge into a lot of personal storms lately, both physical & mental. Sometimes my brain lies to me and tells me I should not try to launch & grow Bufahlow until I can be more reliable. Sometimes it tries to make me feel ashamed of not being able to move at what it thinks is the right pace. Other times I remember that I am worthy just as I am and that there is grace for slow growth. 🖤🦬⛈️
