One of the things I hope I never rush out of him is his sense of wonder. It’s a big part of the heart behind The Day I Had series.

The questions. The exploring. The what ifs? The ability to turn an ordinary afternoon into an adventure simply because his imagination says it can be.

I want him to stay curious enough to ask questions, brave enough to explore, and imaginative enough to see possibilities where the rest of us might see something ordinary.

Because childhood should be filled with days where a cardboard box can become a spaceship, the backyard can become a dinosaur world, and there’s always another adventure waiting to be imagined.

I hope he grows up knowing there is so much in this world to discover and never loses the curiosity to go looking for it.

He was the inspiration behind The Day I Had series and the mission behind the books. So kids can build their imagination, curiosity, and big adventures!

Finishing edits (even though we know I’ll edit again once formatting is done) for The Wildflower Girls book 3! Set to start illustrations this fall!

Book one, full of magical unicorns, friendship, and mystery.
Book two, a splashing adventure under the sea!
Book three, flying to the rescue… more to come on that!
Book four, You’ll have to wait and see!
