Humble, hard working hands…

Imperfectly perfect in all aspects.

That is what makes hand made, premium ci**rs such a rewarding experience.

Nicaragua circa 2014

And we are about to enter a new phase here at Southern Draw Ci**rs, get those cutters n lights ready.

Praise!

Gentle breeze 5mph SE this mornin ambling through the garden.

Gordo test run for the Morning Glory, perfect for just three short hours of rest, insomnia remains something I haven’t tamed, but at least I get an extra few ci**rs each day due to very limited sleep.

For now, this cigar is available to all valued retail partners and wholesalers of Southern Draw Ci**rs, offered only in robusto, toro and gordo. Historically we offer Lancero as the 4th release size of each core blend and for over 12 years, the Lancero size has been a close second in sales to the toro - but maybe we mix this up a bit.

What size and format of the Morning Glory might you like to reach for when you wake up and head out for coffee and prayer time?

Showing no fear, facing the day with the courage of a thousand prayer warriors and angels, and the firm hand of Sharon - keeping me focused on priorities and in the correct order.

Blessings all. Get up, get going.

Put a little love in your heart…

Throw in some kindness, blend some gentleness, mix in some joy and shake on some goodness and you have the makings of the Rose of Sharon, well its namesake that is.

After ten years, we have pulled a few more samples to see if they are worthy and ready for their long-awaited unveiling in 2027.

The iconic pink band will bring the love like it’s never done before. RoS the bearer of said band. And yes it’s always been pink!

Some John Anderson is memoriam of this artist that brought great music to us all.

Evening Primrose in all its evening radiance.

San Andres maduro like you’ve never had it before.

Blessings all.

Some John Conlee to get the RoS sample burnin with today.

BTW, we had two front row tickets to the legend John Conlee yesterday and we just couldn’t get the motors running, we planned, we discussed and out the date in the calendar, the Boss and I, overly tired and in need to rest the mind and body - so we missed it.

Let you know later if the rest was worth the loss of the experience.

Bless the music for those able to tell those magnificent stories in song.

I’m feelin good…

Morning has arrived again, just happy to be part of it, and today offers a special little local date with the boss lady. Music is in the air.

For now, we celebrate the new day, some French roast and the sounds of the birds chirping away as they frolic in the fall dew on the lawn.

Hope you’re feelin good too!

In the evening…

There’s only ever gonna be one Evening Primrose, waking up each day, for one night only, and then to slumber they go, never to wake again, but they leave those seeds of hope for the new day ahead.

Our preferred way to celebrate the sunsets l, wherever we may be.

Blessed.

Firethorn - pyracantha - it was the first blend, sans the bands and brand, just the blend…that laid the groundwork for what has become SDC.

Intentional balance, truest of strength and flavor that is a clean medium. Versatile experience that is fit for seasoned smokers or aficionados per se, or those just venturing into the journey of premium ci**rs.

It is Boss Lady approved, otherwise it would not be possible to be part of the SDC family of brands, much less remain on the market for 13 years and counting.

Blessed to reflect, this doesn’t address the back story but we can take a walk down the ole memory lane another time.

Firethorn - “those dense, thorny branches”, are still offering security around the SDC family while providing shelter and food for those winter birds and you know how important that is to the Boss.
