I honestly don’t know if I should post this quilt or just keep it to myself. I spent so much time choosing the fabrics, putting the pieces together, and trying to make something that felt warm and beautiful to me. I was actually proud of it when I finally finished, but then my older brother looked at it and said, “It doesn’t look that good.” Maybe it was just a small comment to him, but sometimes a few words can hurt more than people realize, especially when they come from someone whose opinion matters to you. I know it’s not a perfect quilt, and maybe it isn’t everyone’s style, but every little piece carries my time, effort, and love. Now I’m honestly wondering… should I even keep making things like this, or am I just not good enough?
