Magnet Cove find: smoky quartz point with two attached magnetite octahedrons.
Love how the black crystals pop against the smoke. Anyone else pulling quartz/magnetite combos out of the Cove lately?

Gold Healer. Rainbow Flash. Mt. Ida, Arkansas.
We pulled this absolute stunner out of the red dirt ourselves. The iron gives it that golden glow, and the aura coating throws rainbows in every direction.
This is why we dig.

⚒️✨ Now THIS is a beast! ✨⚒️

Straight from the legendary Graphic Mine in New Mexico, this massive pyrite specimen is the definition of a display piece.

And before anyone asks… yes, that’s a U.S. quarter in the photos. 😳💥

What you’re seeing:

• The metallic sparkle covering the surface = Pyrite, one of the most iconic minerals in the world.

• The massive size = a specimen that commands attention. The quarter is there for scale, but honestly, photos still don’t capture how impressive this piece is in person.

• The rugged matrix and natural weathering = a reminder that this treasure spent millions of years forming deep within the earth before finally making its way into the light.

Fun fact: Pyrite earned the nickname “Fool’s Gold” because of its resemblance to gold, but collectors know that quality pyrite specimens have a beauty all their own.

This is the kind of piece that starts conversations. Heavy, sparkly, and packed with character from every angle.

💎 Available for sale! Message Texas Lone Star Collections for pricing, additional photos, or a video walkthrough of this monster specimen.

💚✨ Wavellite — Nature’s Green Fireworks! ✨💚

Now here’s a mineral that knows how to stand out.

What you’re seeing:

• The soft green botryoidal clusters = Wavellite, a rare phosphate mineral prized by collectors for its unique spherical growth patterns.

• The sugary sparkle covering the surface = thousands of tiny crystals catching the light from every angle.

• The pale green color comes from trace elements incorporated during formation, giving these specimens their distinctive mint-green appearance.

Wavellite is one of those minerals that looks almost alien. Instead of growing in points or cubes, it forms rounded clusters that resemble tiny grapes, coral, or even frozen bubbles.

Fun fact: Wavellite was first discovered in 1805 and named after English physician and mineral collector William Wavell. Some of the world’s most sought-after specimens come from Arkansas, making it a favorite among American mineral collectors.

These pieces have incredible color, texture, and sparkle that photos can barely capture.

💎 All pieces shown are available for sale! Message Texas Lone Star Collections for pricing, additional photos, or videos. We have multiple specimens available and would be happy to help you find the perfect piece for your collection.

Which one are you taking home? 👇
