Apparently, we’re in our stone era. 🤍

This week, the marble arrived.

The actual slabs that will become part of our new Butter & Blush home at the Aventura Farmers Market at .

And yes…

MARBLE. ON. WHEELS. 😂

Because if we were going to build a Butter & Blush boutique on wheels, you knew we weren’t going to behave.

Every week, another piece of THE BUILD leaves the drawing board and becomes real. The stone is here. Fabrication is underway. And slowly, this crazy little vision of ours is starting to look like the thing we’ve been imagining for months.

We’re not giving her debut date just yet.

There are still details to obsess over, things to build, and probably several more decisions we didn’t know existed. 😂

But when she’s ready?

Oh, you’re going to KNOW.

Frangipani & Agave Nectar Facial Cleanser 🌺

Frangipani got her name on the bottle.

Agave brought refreshments.

Everyone else came to work.

🌺 Frangipani Flower Extract brings the tropical botanical heart of the formula and skin-conditioning care.

🌿 Agave Nectar helps support hydration and that soft, comfortable feel we wanted from a twice-daily cleanser.

🥑 Avocado Oil adds rich emollient conditioning.

✨ Castor Oil contributes another layer of softness and helps give the cleanser its beautifully cushioned feel.

💧 Glycerin + Sodium Lactate support hydration while the skin is being cleansed.

And then there is the cleansing system.

Not the romantic part.

Possibly the most important part.

We chose a combination of cleansing ingredients designed to lift away makeup, excess oil, and daily buildup while still allowing us to create the creamy, comfortable experience we wanted.

Because putting beautiful botanical extracts into an aggressive cleanser and expecting them to apologize for everything else isn't formulation.

Every ingredient has to work within the whole.

Cleanse effectively.

Maintain comfort.

Rinse beautifully.

Leave skin ready for what comes next.

Frangipani may be the flower on the invitation.

But the entire formula came to dinner. 🌺

Frangipani & Agave Nectar Facial Cleanser 🌺

Some cleansers foam like they're trying to put out a fire.

Frangipani has other plans.

This is creamy cleansing.

Soft.

Silky.

Comfortable.

The texture glides easily over damp skin, giving you enough cushion to actually massage your cleanser instead of racing to rinse it off before your face starts protesting.

As you work it across the complexion, it feels smooth and almost lotion-like, gently moving over makeup and daily buildup without that aggressive, bubbly performance we've somehow been taught means “clean.”

Then you add water.

Rinse.

And this is our favorite part.

Your skin feels clean...

but still feels like skin.

No tightness competition.

No squeak.

No strange urge to sprint toward the nearest moisturizer.

Frangipani & Agave Nectar Facial Cleanser 🌺

The makeup was beautiful.

She has to leave now.

Frangipani & Agave Nectar Facial Cleanser makes that part considerably less tragic.

Massage the creamy cleanser over damp skin and it begins loosening makeup, excess oil, sunscreen, and whatever else your face collected while you were out living your life.

But here's the part we cared about:

What does your skin feel like AFTER?

Because removing everything from your face is not particularly impressive if your cleanser also removes every ounce of comfort along with it.

So we paired the cleansing system with Agave Nectar, Glycerin, Sodium Lactate, Avocado Oil, and Castor Oil to help leave skin feeling soft and conditioned after rinsing.

Frangipani Flower Extract brings the botanical elegance, while the delicate fragrance turns something as ordinary as washing your face into a small tropical ritual.

Nothing complicated.

Nothing aggressive.

Just that beautiful moment when the makeup is gone, your hair is up, your face is fresh, and the rest of the evening officially belongs to you.

Wonderful.

What else does it do?

Because cleansing happens twice a day, and we couldn't bring ourselves to formulate something whose entire personality was “gets face clean.”

Frangipani & Agave Nectar Facial Cleanser is our creamy answer to the cleansers that leave your skin feeling suspiciously like a dinner plate.

It gently lifts away makeup, excess oil, and the day while surrounding the skin with Agave Nectar, Avocado Oil, Castor Oil, Glycerin, and Sodium Lactate to help maintain that soft, comfortable feel we want after cleansing.

Then Frangipani Flower Extract brings the botanical story and the formula's beautiful tropical character.

The result isn't squeaky.

It isn't stripped.

And your face doesn't immediately begin negotiating for moisturizer.

It's simply clean.

Butter & Blush Parfum No. 2 🌹

Everyone sees “rose” and thinks they know where this is going.

Adorable.

No. 2 is built around contrast.

☁️ Cotton Blossom opens with an airy softness.

🍊 Citrus brings the light.

🌹 Rose takes the center of the composition, lush and unmistakably floral.

🌼 Orange Blossom gives the heart another flash of luminosity.

🌿 Geranium interrupts all that prettiness with a greener, subtly spiced edge.

And then we turn the lights down.

✨ Amber brings warmth.

🔥 Incense adds smoky depth.

🤍 Vanilla softens the composition without turning it sugary.

🌿 Vetiver grounds everything with a dry, earthy finish.

That's why No. 2 doesn't read as simply “a rose perfume.”

Take away the darker notes and you lose the tension.

Take away the brightness and you lose the contrast.

Take away the rose and, well...

Now we're going to have a problem.

Butter & Blush Parfum No. 2 🌹

No. 2 has excellent timing.

She doesn't give you everything at once.

The first spray is almost deceptive.

Cotton Blossom.

Citrus.

Air.

A luminous opening that sits lightly against the skin.

Give it a moment.

The Rose begins to emerge, fuller now, surrounded by Orange Blossom and Geranium.

The fragrance feels floral, but not delicate.

Then it warms.

Amber and Incense begin moving underneath the petals.

Vanilla brings softness.

Vetiver adds that dry, grounded depth that keeps everything from becoming too sweet.

And suddenly the perfume you sprayed twenty minutes ago isn't quite the perfume you're wearing now.

That's the part we love.

No. 2 unfolds.

Bright to floral.

Floral to warm.

Warm to skin.

Until eventually you're left with that soft, sultry trace of fragrance you keep catching when you move.

And yes, you will smell your own wrist repeatedly.

We consider this quality control.

Butter & Blush Parfum No. 2 🌹

“What perfume are you wearing?”

The question we were hoping for.

Parfum No. 2 isn't the rose you wear when you want to smell sweet and pretty.

She's already aware she's pretty.

We had other things to accomplish.

It begins with Cotton Blossom and Citrus, soft and luminous against the skin.

Then Rose arrives.

Not alone.

Orange Blossom adds radiance while Geranium gives the floral heart a greener, subtly spiced edge.

And just when you think you've understood her...

Amber and Incense begin to warm underneath.

Vanilla softens the edges.

Vetiver grounds everything.

The fragrance becomes deeper, warmer, and considerably more difficult to forget.

This is the perfume for the dinner reservation.

The black dress.

The bare shoulder.

The elevator where somebody turns around after you walk in.

Not because No. 2 is shouting.

She doesn't need to.

Some fragrances enter a room.

This one leaves evidence. 🌹

And when someone inevitably asks what you're wearing?

You can tell them.

Or you can be difficult.

Butter & Blush Parfum No. 2 🌹

Rose has a reputation for being romantic.

No. 2 had other plans.

This is rose after dark.

Butter & Blush Parfum No. 2 began as the scent behind our Black Baccara Rose Shower Cream, where customers kept meeting the fragrance and asking the inevitable question:

“Do you make this as a perfume?”

Well.

We took the hint.

No. 2 opens softly with Cotton Blossom and Citrus, airy and luminous enough to make you think this might behave.

It does not.

Rose begins to bloom through the heart, wrapped in Orange Blossom and the green, subtly spiced tension of Geranium.

Then the entire composition deepens.

Amber.

Incense.

Vanilla.

Vetiver.

Warmth moves in beneath the florals and suddenly this isn't a pretty rose perfume anymore.

It's sensual.

Smoldering.

A little mysterious.

And extremely comfortable being noticed.

No. 2 doesn't walk into the room before you do.

But it may stay there after you've left.

Which, frankly, is much more interesting. 🌹
