It's time....time to hit the road again. This time, I need to start on Saturday, so July 18th we will be closed. Back in the saddle by Thursday, July 23. We WILL be open July 16 & 17.

It's hot, hot, hot!! Liberty Book Shop WILL be open Thursday and Friday, July 2 & 3. Door will be unlocked -- humidity makes it stick a bit, so push. But we have no air conditioning, and by today, it's very warm inside the shop.

It will be more comfortable next week, when we return to our regular summer weather. See you then!

One of my little chores is delivering the Mountain Home magazine. When it's to friends like this, it's a delight! And I scored a pair of candlesticks that I just love!

Warehouse 124 had a nice visit this morning from friend and fellow picker Ray Smith from Pine Crick Picker. I did a trunk pick last week and there were some primitive items in the pick that I needed a professional opinion on so that I could fairly pay the owners for their items. Ray is an expert and an honest expert! He’s online only now but if you are looking for a Primo Primitive Piece - he’s your guy!

We also had the new copy of Mountain Home Magazine dropped off by Linda Roller owner of the Liberty Book Shop in Avis. Thanks for always doing that for us, Linda! Liberty Book Shop is having a SALE this Thursday, Friday and Saturday! I’ll share her FB post about the sale and then you can follow her on FB for updates on future events.

I’m having dinner downtown with my cousin tonight and it’s always the hardest choice of where to eat. Aren’t we sooooooo fortunate to have so many fabulous restaurants in Williamsport to choose from! 👩‍🍳

AND - back to what I do for a living…LOL…how about this WONDERFUL Uncle Sam Hat turned Ice Bucket! Isn’t this the perfect piece for this year’s parties! Happy Birthday America!!

Between a car in the body shop and a large advertisement for the sale that hit the stands yesterday, I've decided to "listen to the universe" and extend the summer sale.

Here's the deal! My $1.00 cases are now 25 cents. And everything else in the shop is 20% to 50% off. Thursday June 11, 10-6, Friday June 12th 10-6 and Saturday until 1pm (I need to get to the Fly-In at Lock Haven!)
