Someone very close to us passed away recently.
We have been wanting to do this the right way for a long time, and losing them made it plain: families need this in place before they need it.
We see it every day in our work. Families walk in overwhelmed, in the middle of the hardest week of their lives, trying to figure out where the papers are, who to call, whether there was insurance, what Mom or Dad actually wanted. Nobody wrote it down, so everybody has to guess.
That is why we made this book. It is called Figured This Might Help.
We will be honest: an earlier version of this went out before it was finished. This is the complete version, 48 pages, thorough and ready. It walks you through writing down who to call, where everything is, what you want for your care and your service, what happens with your pets and your things, and it leaves room for letters to your family in your own words.

Type into it on your phone or computer, or print it and use a pen. Do a page or two at a time. Keep it with your will, and tell somebody where it is.
One request: once you fill it in, it holds private information. Keep your finished copy somewhere safe, and please never post it online.
