Here’s a quick peek at some of the new furniture pieces added to my booth! I previously had two display tables along the front edge. I moved one of the tables to the back of the booth and I took home the other one. I’m experimenting with adding more small furniture.
Thoughts?? Do you like the look of it? Is it too cluttered looking? There’s still the same amount of space to walk through my booth, so that’s good. But like I said, it’s an experiment 😁

Raise your hand if you had or have this ceramic winking Santa in the middle of this photo.
I did and do. 🙋🏻‍♀️ Besides this one, of course.

My mom was into ceramics in the 70s, and she made one of these Atlantic mold santas along with many other Christmas and Halloween items. We even had a kiln in our garage! Besides the lighted ceramic Christmas tree that she made, this one was my favorite. Unfortunately, the santa my mom made burned up in a fire, but I do have another one of these in my own home, and it brings back a happy Christmas memory-even if it isn’t the exact one. 🎄

Ready or not, here comes Christmas! 🎄🎄🎄
Besides filling a bookcase with vintage Christmas this week, I also brought in some furniture- a half moon inlaid table, and a folding wooden bench. Also, a couple small wall shelves, and some vintage ice skates and a wool throw. Perfect for decorating your entryway or porch this fall/winter!

Thinking of transitioning my booth to Christmas and thinking I might start slowly by adding in Christmas items to my barrister bookcase Wednesday.
I know some people get upset when Christmas is out before Thanksgiving let alone Halloween! I’m not decorating my house for Christmas yet, but in retail, which an antique booth is, I feel it’s advantageous to put holiday items out well ahead of the specific holiday.
It would be fun to hear if you agree or disagree with this idea. Thoughts?

If you need some brass candlesticks, I’ve got you covered. I just refilled my booth with about a dozen of them! 😁
Some other new items this week include a few other brass items, a trivet, several vases, a few bells and a lobster. Seriously, a brass lobster! So cute!
I also added more copper items, a gold colored bird cage, green Indiana glassware, some pottery, as well as a really awesome, woven turkey shaped basket that would make a beautiful Thanksgiving centerpiece. And more, of course!

Have I mentioned that I have a case in addition to my booth?? It’s filled with mostly vintage holiday items, plus Pyrex, Fiestaware and other collectibles!

On the Halloween shelves there are vintage blowmolds and buckets, Gurley candles, a vintage metal noise maker, candle holders plus Pyrex and more!

On the Christmas shelves there are vintage ornaments, Rosbro candy holders, a Putz house, Gurley candles, Jewel Brite diorama ornaments, vintage feather angels, and Fiestaware Christmas dishes and more!

Oh, and an awesome, highly sought after, vintage Campfire Marshmallow tin!

My friend sent me this picture of a vintage santa she picked up for me at an estate sale this morning. She buckled him into her grandson’s car seat!😆

Now don’t be jealous but here’s a picture of my latest thrift haul! 😆 I do find things at thrift stores sometimes, but more times than not they are overpriced, damaged or there just aren’t any vintage items there. Can anyone else relate?
