FRANK & FRAN'S HATTERAS ISLAND FISHING REPORT 5/8/26

Today was absolutely gorgeous! There was some wind, and lots of folks getting 4 and 5oz. Sputnik sinkers, but still a great day to be out on the beach. We have reports today of scattered bluefish, including the 34" one Jim caught at ramp 43! Virgil sent some nice drum pictures from last night, a 49.5" and a 45" from the south beaches. Nice work, everyone!

FRANK & FRAN'S HATTERAS ISLAND FISHING REPORT 5/7/26

It's been a humid, windy, rainy, and nasty day! But the fish don't care! We heard of some scattered puppy drum and bluefish out there today. David braved the weather and got himself a nice puppy drum. Yesterday evening, Buddy took out Brad, Byron, and Bethany on his boat, and they caught three red drum, 27"-33", and six big bluefish!
And a few days ago, Rick and Jeff had a beautiful, sunny day, full of blues and puppy drum. Hopefully the sun comes back soon!
