Second Life is a nonprofit upscale thrift store turning donated goods into grants for animal chartities and low-cost spay/neuter programs. Second Life is an upscale thrift store with a mission to support animal rescues and spay/neuter initiatives. Since opening in 2011, our community has helped us donate over $2.7 million to give homeless pets a second chance at life. Clarendon Avenue in Avondale

Estates, our store features 5,000 sq ft of treasure hunting—filled with quality donated items including clothing, home décor, books, music, housewares and more! All items are donated by the community, and proceeds support organzations making a difference in the animal rescue community. We are proud to be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit making a difference—one purchase at a time.

Due to the extreme heat, DONATION INTAKE will be SUSPENDED today, Tuesday, Aug. 18 & Wednesday, Aug. 19 to keep our team safe. ☀️🥵

Your donations keep our stores stocked AND help us continue supporting animal rescues and lifesaving programs throughout our community. We need and want your donations, but we also want our team to be safe. ❤️🐶🐱

This has been a brutally long and hot summer. Thanks for understanding and for helping us keep our team safe during these dangerously hot days!

Today, we’re celebrating things that make Second Life special: helping homeless pets find a second chance at life, giving your donations a second life, and helping our purr-fect store foster cat, Little Ninja, find his second chance at love!

We spent the day unleashing all things spooky at Second Life, just in time for everyone to stock up on their favorite Halloween decorations!

Store Dog Sunday! We loved seeing these cuties in the store and wanted to brighten your feed just like they brightened our day!

💚 Mama Dog is about 3-4 years old and was rescued from a bad situation. She hit the jackpot with one of our customers! She can't decide which direction her ears should face, so she chose one up and one down 🥰
💚 Another visit from Sweet Maggie and her owner. Maggie was adopted from Fulton County Animal Services and is living her best life! She is only about 10 months and is beyond adorable.

📸 We wish we could capture every wonderful pet that comes through our doors. If you have a photo of you and your special pup shopping at our store, we would love to see them in the comments!

This gorgeous black cat is all heart. He has one of the sweetest and most loving personalities, and will make somebody an amazing new best friend 🖤🐱 He’s hoping his next adventure is with a family of his very own. Whether he’s showing off his playful side, soaking up some attention, or simply being his adorable self, he’s sure to steal your heart!!
