New to the FGO Crew…?

We’d like to introduce you to our Swan Guide Matthew Newton. He will be here January 6-23. Matthew runs a guide service in Hillsboro, Kansas for Deer 🦌 Waterfowl 🦆 , and his favorite Turkeys 🦃 Final Destination Outfitters

Matthew has been with us for 8 years, and has guided 100’s of swan hunts. He comes here during is down time in Kansas. So if you haven’t gotten on the books yet? We encourage you, the sooner the better! We’re looking to keep him busy this year, as we’ve had a high swan permit turn out for our clients this season. A lot of you have been following us for awhile , and have seen our swan hunt videos. Matthew is the guide behind the camera.

Start of the season…

We had some good action, good missing, & good times. Something about opening day of dove season just sets the stage for us here at FGO. We have been grinding all summer long to prepare for the season, and today we saw Hope at the end of the rainbow 🌈

Now we switch gears to start chasing those little rockets 🚀
This afternoon was our first true NE Wind, and we’re super excited.

Thanks everyone that shared the field with us today, and got the season started off!

Good morning FGO Family,

If you haven’t heard by now, the NC Swan Permits results have been released! It was a crazy 6 hours yesterday with calls, and text! Thank you everyone so far that has booked! If I didn’t call/text you back yesterday, I’m so sorry! Please get up with us today, and we will get you on the books!

We still have plenty of dates open, and our swan guide Matthew Newton with Final Destination Outfitters will be with us for 3 weeks in January!

Nothing fancy, hunting over a bean field. I did see good numbers of birds this afternoon, while I was mowing.

$50.00 per hunter. Youth age 15 and younger hunt free with paid adult. You may bring your 🐶 pups

Well it’s the end of August, now it’s time to start getting those stands in order…

We have picked up more properties this season, and the work has begun. We still have openings for our Deer, Waterfowl/Deer Combo, and Bear hunts.

Youth Deer day is September 26-27,2026

Our Ladies hunt is Full for October

Gun Deer Season is October 17 – Jan. 1, 2027

Blackpowder: Oct. 3 – 16, 2026

3 spots available for Bear in November 18-22 (Lodging included)

1 spot available for December 12-17

We’re a week out from drawing! We still have tickets available for our fundraiser for Brandon. The winner may transfer the hunt to another person, so this would make a great gift idea!
