Can we talk about PHILODENDRONS?! 😍

One of my absolute favorite plant families because there are SO many varieties. They’re wild, funky, lush, tropical and just a little unruly… basically everything we love around here. 😂🌿

Currently OBSESSED with El Choco Red.

I mean… COME ON. 😍 Those huge velvety leaves?! The texture?!?! OH. MY. GOODNESS.

If you also believe there is no such thing as too many philodendrons, come nerd out with us in the tiny jungle this weekend. 🫶🌿✨

Welp. I’ve officially reached a new level of PLANT NERD.

I HAVE BUG GLASSES NOW. 😂

Yes. Actual glasses specifically so I can get up close and personal with every single plant before it enters our beautiful tiny jungle.

Because absolutely NOT. 🚫🕷️🚫🪳🚫🕸️

No freeloaders.
No unauthorized roommates.
No tiny jerks setting up shop.

I will be inspecting leaves like a detective at a crime scene. 🔍🌿😂

The ONLY bugs invited to Radical Roots are the good ones.

We were SO excited to hit Stina’s flower stand Stina | Farmer-Florist | Spring, Fall, Winter flowers today and find that there were still some of her absolutely gorgeous blooms available!! And ohhhh my goodness… they look INCREDIBLE in the Ikebana vases around the shop. 🌼🌿

Seriously stunning. Every single little arrangement feels like its own tiny piece of living art.

Okayyyy… HOW PERFECT is this Mermaid Tail Cactus in an oyster shell planter?! 😍🐚

Like they were quite literally made for each other.

AND SHE’S BLOOMING! 🌸✨ Mermaid Tail Cacti don’t commonly bloom indoors, so we are feeling extra lucky to catch this little bit of plant magic happening in the shop.

Happy Thursday, plant friends! 🌿💗✨

We have been some BUSY plant ladies lately—and we wouldn’t have it any other way! 🪴💪

We’ve been staging beautiful homes with living art, bringing in plants + planters to add warmth, texture, color, and LIFE to every space.

We’ve also been working on a full-home project—finding the perfect plant moments for every room. Living room? Plants. Kitchen? Plants. Bedroom? Plants. Bathroom? Obviously plants. 😂🪴

There’s been delivering, installing, repotting, styling…and a whole lot of plant Tetris along the way. 😂🌱

And then there’s our plant-care! 💚 We’ve been making the rounds watering, grooming, checking soil, cleaning leaves, troubleshooting, and making sure all of our plant friends around the island are happy + thriving.

AND we’re getting ready for something extra fun! 🌙✨ We’re collaborating with our friends at Mudroom for Moonlight Market, and we can’t wait to share a little Radical Roots magic with you there! 🪴💗

All while keeping our little jungle stocked and ready for YOU.

We LOVE that Radical Roots has grown into so much more than a plant shop. We get to help make spaces feel more alive, more personal, and a little more magical. 🌿✨

Getting soooo good at plant Tetris, guys! 😂🪴 There is ALWAYS room for one more… right?! 🩷🌱

We’ve also had such an influx of requests for birthday parties lately, and we are SO excited to host more terrarium birthday parties! 🎉🌱 If you’ve been thinking about celebrating with us, make sure you reach out and get your date on the calendar—dates are starting to fill up!

And today we’re heading out for an afternoon install on Rockaway Beach, creating some beautiful planters for a home hitting the market. 🏡🌿 We absolutely LOVE getting to bring living art into spaces and make them feel a little more alive.

Busy, creative, plant-filled days are our favorite kind. 💚 Happy Sunday, friends!
