Friday’s Favorites - A few of my favorite things then and now ... a chippy white table from one of our trips to Texas (that I recently sold) ... a classic vintage monogrammed torchon from France (always love these!)... and a favorite line of new vintage inspired red enamelware that is currently available at our shop and now in our Online shop. I love it most when there is a mix of new and old ... not too shabby and not to sleek ... a nod to the past while moving confidently forward ... What are your favorite items and looks that make you happy? Who do you follow that inspires you? Today and every Friday going forward ... Kathryn and I in Paris on that very first Vintage buying trip ... here of course we were buying something not so vintage - but my favorite brand of shoes because of course we need good walking shoes for the markets right ;) Happy to say that you don’t need to go to Paris for these shoes as she carries them in her shop here on Bainbridge Island!! Perfect!!

So here is that daybed from France from my previous post ... in fact all the things you see here (except for maybe the red pillow) are all items I found on that very first trip to France with my dear friend Kathryn. This photo was from my earlier shop which was actually in one of my two studio spaces ... I didn’t take a lot of photos back then of that first French Container Sale ... but I am so glad I have a few to remember it by ... ❤️❤️❤️

This piece here was the very first big piece I bought in France and was the stepping stone piece to start bringing containers over from France full of French vintage goodness ... my girlfriend Kathryn and I had both had this on our bucket list for years ... and since we each had stores that we could put all this goodness in - we could justify the overall cost to get a container to do so. It was one of the best things I ever did for myself ... found my passion + followed a dream = love my life!! And since then have done 4 containers in total - every single piece picked one by one ... now this piece is in one of my lovely customers homes ... being truly loved the way it was meant to be! Do you want to come shop with me at some of the bigger dealer shows as my “client” so you can experience all of this that otherwise is not available to the general public ... do you want to find beautiful pieces like this and bring them all home ... then this trip is for you ;) We have the experience to show you how it all works ... and promise to show you a trip of a lifetime - an experience above and beyond - one you will never, ever forget!!
