Getting settled in our new place has been an adventure, and is an opportunity for new projects. Like this custom walnut TV stand. I’ve been working on it for a few weeks now, and I think the hard parts are done. Next up will be to glue/assemble the doors with the glass inserts, sand it and put the finish on it. Lots of firsts on this one. Now it’s time to kick back with some EH Taylor small batch and a Punch Maduro. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Great day for working on guitar bodies. Got the Ash body prep done including the custom control cavity cover. It took me 3 tries and a few hours, but I’m happy with it. Now it’s down to sanding. Got the level sanding and final clear coats done on the blue body. Got to give it time to cure then it’s ready for sanding and buffing. Hope y’all have a great weekend!

Starting on my next Tele build today. ash body with a maple neck/rosewood fretboard and black go fast parts. It will have a rear mounted control cavity and won’t have a pick guard to keep things clean to show off the wood grain.
